Rulings:

For the 2010 season the NZWR committee have agreed to introduce the over 45 rule for athletes 45 and over. Athletes 45 and over will drop by 0.5 in classification. NZWR will trial this rule for the 2010 season and then review at the conclusion of the NZ Nationals. The over 45 rule will be in effect for all NZWR sanctioned tournaments. 

Female athletes will drop 0.5 for all NZWR sanctioned tournaments for the season of 2010 
We are playing 12 Sec’s over half for ALL NZWR sanctioned tournaments, as per the international rulings 
We are playing the 40sec shot clock for ALL NZWR sanctioned tournaments, as per the international rulings

The NZWRC would like to announce that Greg Mitchell will continue in the role of Head Coach until the conclusion of the 2010 World Championships in Vancouver, Canada.  Cherie Porter has filled the vacant role of Team Manager for the same time period.
