This tournament will act as the qualifying event for the Wheelchair Rugby World Championships in Vancouver, Canada next year.  This year the tournament will include the following five teams Australia, Korea, Japan, New Zealand and South Africa with only three spots available for the games.

The Championships will be held from the Wednesday 4th to Sunday 8th November 09 in Christchurch, New Zealand
